This travel poster was created as part of a design assignment to visually capture the essence of a global city through layout, typography, and illustration.

I chose New York City for its vibrant identity and iconic landmarks, aiming to balance both informative and visual storytelling.

The left side of the design uses a bold typographic layout paired with a short editorial-style narrative to reflect the city's cultural richness and non-stop energy. I emphasized hierarchy using varying font styles and weights to guide the reader's eye. The right side features a stylized illustration of the Empire State Building under a night sky, surrounded by city lights and classic yellow taxis—symbols synonymous with NYC.
